The Quest for Connection
It started with a simple desire: to connect with fellow writers who shared my passion for the written word. But alas, all I found were ads, nasty comments and nonsense.
On building Scribit
After searching for years, I never found a good writer’s community. I’m a member of many groups but find none of them fit the bill. My name is there, but I’m not engaged. Why? None of these groups are designed to build a community. They are ad-heavy if they’re free, or too pricey when geared towards professional writers.
The Aha Moment
One particularly frustrating evening, after yet another fruitless search, it hit me. Why not create a platform that embodies everything I was looking for? A place where writers of all levels could gather, share, and grow. A community that was as dynamic and diverse as the stories we tell. And thus, Scribit was born.
